Common questions

Before we begin.

Professional discussion of property questions
What is the difference between building and strata management?

Building management focuses on onsite operations, common property presentation and maintenance coordination. Strata management supports scheme administration and governance. The two roles work together under their respective appointments.

How is onsite attendance arranged?

Attendance is agreed as part of the service scope, taking account of the property, maintenance needs and client requirements. Tell us the level of support you are seeking when requesting a proposal.

How does a transition from an existing provider work?

The proposed handover can cover maintenance records, open issues, contractor information, access arrangements and communication with the committee and strata manager. Timing and responsibilities are agreed before commencement.

What information is needed for a proposal?

Please provide the property address and type, approximate number of lots, required attendance, current priorities and any available scope or maintenance information.

Who approves expenditure and works?

Approvals follow the client’s instructions, delegated authority and agreed engagement. The building manager coordinates work within those arrangements.

Let’s talk about your building.
